Hospital Pictures

When we gave birth to Josiah--the hospital provided a digital camera to take pictures with in addition to our own. The nurse took pictures with one camera and Tim took pictures with one. We just received the CD of pictures last week--almost 3 months after Josiah was born. We can't believe how much he has grown since then. They also have some of my favorite pictures--Josiah on the scale showing how much he weighed, our first picture as a family together in the OR--so here they are. (Unfortunately they also took pictures of me laying on the table in the operating room--yuck!!)

Favorite Pictures of Josiah

Here are some of our favorites. The one picture looks like he is playing the air guitar. He also LOVES the stuffed dog that Uncle Chuck and Aunt Marlene gave him.

Sarah's volleyball game

Tonight we went to my cousin Sarah's volleyball game. She did a great job and even scored a couple of points. They also won the game!! Afterwards we went to Applebee's with Rob & Lisa and Grandpa and Grandma.

Small Group--Football--Baker's Square

Tonight we headed out to Orland to go to a small group at church. Josiah went in the nursery for the first time and did a great job. We are studying the book No Perfect People and it was really good to meet with our group.

Afterwards we headed out to CCHS to watch their football game. My cousin, Dan M. plays for the varsity team. We arrived at the second half and they were shutting out the other team, but it was a great time and we had fun with the family. Unfortunately we forgot the camera in the car :(

Then we called Tim's parents because they were at the Steve Green concert and we ended up going out to Baker's Square which was fun. (Even though we got scolded by someone from our church for having Josiah out too late :( )

Farewell Hyundai!!

We have decided to sell my car, the Hyundai. My dad helped us clean the exterior and helped sell it on Saturday to the first person who came to the house. We are so thankful to dad for helping us sell it and so thankful that it sold so fast. It was such a dependable car!!

More camping/cookout pictures

Camping in the rain

On Friday we headed out to Chesterton, IN to go camping with Tim's family. We knew that rain was predicted all weekend, but figured it was worth a try. We ended up camping only for Friday night. All night long while we were in our tent we thought it wasn't going to be able to rain any harder and then it would. We ended up staying in the tent until about 3 am and spent the rest of the night in the car. We had breakfast and enjoyed watching Bekah and Evan splashing in the huge puddles. Later in the evening we went back to Tim's parents for a cookout.

Labor Day Breakfast

On Labor Day, we headed to Orland Park to go out to breakfast with Tim's parents at Mimi's. It was such good food and we enjoyed spending time with them.

There is also a picture of Josiah wearing his first pair of Winnie the Pooh shoes from his Great Grandma B.

Kankakee State Park

On Sunday we went to the Kankakee State Park and enjoyed some nice walking along the river. We went a different way than we usually go which was very nice and shaded.
