Interesting website

I wanted to post a link to a website that I find very interesting. Regardless of your political stance it is interesting to read about the life on the campaign trail. The blog has been written by John McCain's daughter, Meghan. Click here

My blog list

I have decided to add a blog list of blogs that I enjoy reading. I enjoy reading a lot of other blogs of friends but I didn't want to put them on here until I checked it out with them.

The one blog is regarding cloth diapering. We have decided to try a couple out to see if we can save some money. So, we'll see if it will work out.

The next two blogs are written by two very powerful Christian people. The CF husband blog is written by a Christian man who shares about his family. His wife, Tricia, has Cystic Fibrosis. She has gone through a lot in the last year and yet they continue to grow through each day with such faith and perseverance. I won't go in to the whole story--you can read it on his blog if you are interested. Reading the blog reminds me to be thankful for each day that I have and the ability to pray for this wonderful family.

The next blog is written by Angie Smith and she is the wife of one of Selah (Christian artists). She has such an amazing way of writing about the different experiences that they go through as a family. They have suffered a lot over the last year including the death of their little daughter at birth and the death of her nephew of SIDS. When I read her posts I feel closer to God because she has such an insight in to life.

Grandpa B's Birthday

Can you believe she is pregnant and due in February? She looks great!!

On Saturday afternoon we headed out to Tinley. We stopped by Uncle Chuck & Aunt Marlene because we have not seen them in such a long time. Unfortunately they both had a cold but we enjoyed visiting with them anyway. Then we stopped by Matt & Cindy and were able to visit with them for a couple of minutes. Then we headed to my parents for dad's birthday. We had a great time visiting with the family and took tons of pictures. So, here they are!!

Pumpkin

Today we went to a local pumpkin patch and picked out a pumpkin to decorate. Josiah wore his Pumpkin costume from Aunt Lisa K. He won't be able to wear it on Halloween because it is TOO small!! We enjoyed getting the pumpkin ready for carving.

Tooth

Josiah is beginning to get his first tooth in. I started to see it yesterday and today I can feel it. He is doing really well with it, though.

Trip to Tinley

Today my sister called and asked if I wanted to ride along to Tinley. We headed out there with the boys and ended up calling Grandma B. to see if she would go out for lunch with us. We enjoyed lunch with her and then ended up at my parents house while my sister went shopping. We had a great time!!

Bekah and Evan's Birthday Party

Yesterday we celebrated Bekah's 7th birthday and Evan's 4th birthday. It was good to see everyone and was also especially nice to see Grandma S. since it has been a little while since we had seen her. The kids had such cool cakes that were decorated by a friend of Beth's. So here are some pictures from the evening.

Roll Over

Josiah rolled over for the first time from his stomach to his back. We were so excited!!

Josiah's Favorites

Josiah's favorite new place to hang out is in his exersaucer. I think that he loves the freedom to see the whole world around him. He looks so big in there, too.

He also has slept in his crib and looks so cute in there!!

Wisconsin Dells

This weekend we enjoyed our first "real family vacation" to Wisconsin Dells. We went from Friday to Sunday with some friends. We had a great time and Josiah actually enjoyed the water which was super fun!!

Daylia's Baptism

Our niece, Daylia, was baptized today. My brother, Jeff, was able to baptize her which was awesome (thankfully he had a little bit of a voice despite a cold). He also gave the sermon which was a really neat letter to her which from the parts that I heard of it were awesome!!
