JO

Today my friend Jo stopped by to see me. It was super awesome to see her since I have not been able to see her since our wedding. She lives all the way in Nebraska but was in town for a short time for a business trip so we were able to hang out for a little while which was fun. It was too bad that she was not able to see the baby yet, but next time she can see him or her.

Saturday

On Saturday we relaxed for most of the day, but Tim had made a decal for the baby's room so we spent some time putting that up. It looks really nice in the room. We also put away a lot of the presents from the baby shower.

Dan's graduation

After we had the baby shower we went and spent the gift card for Babies R Us and got a few more things that we needed. We then went to Palos Church to celebrate my cousin Dan's 8th grade graduation.





Tim was excited because he doesn't usually get to hold Austin, because I am usually hogging him.

SURPRISE!!

On Friday, my work threw a surprise baby shower for me. I figured that something was happening as most of my friends were missing for most of the morning. I walked into the room and they all yelled surprise. One of my friends, Heather, kept apologizing because she knows that I do not like surprise parties. Later, my mom and Tim showed up. It was a very nice party and was a nice way to end my time at St. Coletta's. We were very blessed by all of the presents that we received. Here are some pictures:

Miscellaneous Mutterings

It's been a pretty crazy week. I have not been feeling well-a case of sinusitis-which is kind of a bummer because it is my last week of work. So, I haven't felt very well while I was there. Tomorrow I go to the doctor again (37 weeks!!) Then, Friday is my last day at St. Coletta's. It seems so unreal that I will be leaving there. Very strange. I've had to say good-bye to some of the people already because they won't be there on Friday. I received two cards in the mail from one of my people which was super cute and then I received another card and present from someone who will not be there on Friday. It is a super nice blanket with silky edge to it--here's the picture



It will definitely be hard on Friday to say good-bye to the people that I have been working alongside for the last 3 years. :(

Hopefully this will be the last picture of me and my sister-in-law, Lisa, pregnant. We probably will not see each other again until I have the baby because they are super busy. So here's the picture from last night.

Grandpa & Grandma's 60th Anniversary

Last night we celebrated Grandpa & Grandma's 60th Anniversary at Fox's. We had a great time and all of the family was able to attend which was so much fun. We are so happy for them and their 60 years of God's faithfulness. We had a video going of pictures over the last 60 years. My sister also did a little bag of goodies with stuff written on the back about different events during 1948. Then, my sister-in-law also had people write their memories of grandpa and grandma in a photo album and she took pictures of people to put in with their memory. My wedding photographer came and took pictures of the whole group which also be a wonderful memory for them. Here is some of the pictures from the night--
