Josiah was able to hang out with Tim, Bekah, Evan and Uncle Joel on Sunday while Beth and I went to visit a freind in the hospital. Here is an adorable picture of the kids!!

Here are some pictures from the last couple of weeks. The big excitement in our lives right now is waiting for my sister to have her baby. She is due on February 12but we are expecting the baby to arrive earlier than that. Other than that I have been applying for jobs and am waiting for something to materialize that will fit with our schedule!!

Puppy Love

Ok, she is not really a puppy, but she is soooooooo cute. My parents bought this dog the other day and she is 3 years old. Her name is Jade and she is 90% cocker spaniel. Tim is not really happy with my parents because I totally fell in love with her. She is so calm and timid--a little scared of people. Wouldn't you fall in love with her?

Anniversary Dinner

Last night we went out for dinner for our anniversary. We had a great time just being together. Tim gives me a cd on our anniversary of our favorite songs for the last year so I always look forward to seeing what songs are on there. We weren't able to listen to them all last night. Here is a picture that my mom took of us after dinner.

Since it has been two years since we went on our honeymoon, I figured that now would be the time to put some pictures on the blog of it. We went on a Royal Caribbean cruise that went to Key West, Cozumel and Belize. Our cabin was super nice--it was a junior suite that contained a balcony that we could sit on--how beautiful it was to sit out there at night!!

In Key West we really did not have much planned but just enjoyed walking around the touristy areas. In Cozumel we went on a mini jeep ride and went snorkeling. That was actually the most fun that we had on our "day trips". Belize wasn't very fun--it was a long bus ride and the tour we went on wasn't all that exciting.

2 years

Today we are celebrating our 2 year anniversary. It is so crazy to think that 2 years has already passed sinced we were married. It was such a wonderful day and we were surrounded by many of our family and friends and everything went so well. We are just so thankful to God for the many blessings that we have experienced over the past 2 years!! So many things have changed over the past 2 years--a new home, a baby, going from 2 incomes to 1, going from 2 cars to 1, etc.

I continue to be so thankful to God for Tim. He is a wonderful, loving husband and father and we are so blessed to have him in our lives!!

6 month check-up

Josiah had his six month check up yesterday. The doctor said that he is doing very well. He ended up being 26 3/4 inches and was 16 pounds 8 ounces (at 4 months he was 26 1/2 inches and 14 pounds 11 ounces). He had three shots and did very well. Thankfully at his next appointment he will not need shots!!

Interview

I had an interview on Thursday at the Holiday Inn out here so my mom watched Austin and Josiah together for about a half hour. The hours really won't work for us, but we are hoping to find something part time pretty soon. Austin was soooooooo cute with Josiah. He kept saying hi to him and getting right in his face. He kept telling him all kinds of stories and laughing--it was adorable. Josiah was a little hesitant, but it was very cute~~

Furniture

We purchased some new furniture on New Year's Day since the other furniture was getting older and while I was pregnant I broke the recliner. It looks really nice in our living room and really draws out the color from around the fireplace.

Yesterday we went to my grandparents for lunch and to pick up the steam vacuum. We had a great time with them and enjoyed their company!!

New Years Day

We got up on time on New Years Day and headed out to Frankfort to go out for breakfast with Tim's family at Kingsberry. It was really good and we enjoyed seeing them. Josiah was even able to sit in a high chair with a little blanket support!!

Then we went out and did a little shopping--more pictures of that later in the week!!

Afterwards some of my family came over for games and to finish off the leftover appetizers that we had. We had a good time despite the fact that Tim & lost badly in hand and foot :(

New Years Eve

We celebrated New Years Eve again this year with our friends Matt & Cindy. We have made it a tradition since this is how Tim & I met again three years ago!! We enjoyed eating some food, playing some games and beginning the new year together again.
