On Friday we headed out to Chesterton, IN to go camping with Tim's family. We knew that rain was predicted all weekend, but figured it was worth a try. We ended up camping only for Friday night. All night long while we were in our tent we thought it wasn't going to be able to rain any harder and then it would. We ended up staying in the tent until about 3 am and spent the rest of the night in the car. We had breakfast and enjoyed watching Bekah and Evan splashing in the huge puddles. Later in the evening we went back to Tim's parents for a cookout.

Doctor's Appointment
Josiah had his 2 month check up on Friday. He weighed in at over 11 pounds and was 24 1/4 inches long. We were very surprised and happy that he had gained that much weight in the last six weeks (4 pounds). He also received 3 shots (a total of six different vaccines). He did super well and so did I--I didn't look at the shots and stood up by his head with his pacifier in his mouth, closed my eyes and talked to him. Once I could hold him I gave him his bottle and he stopped crying right away--what a trooper. Thankfully he also did not have any side effects except needing a little extra comfort!! We are so thankful that he is doing so well!!
